The Internet

The Internet: Cru-cyber

Come all ye faithful,
Login to global conquesting technology.
Buy, sell, bank, chat . . .
All alone interact.
Cru-cybers countless,
Persons unknown,
Chain-mail links in an armor that’s grown against itself,
The infidel hacker, epithetically known as security’s backer.
Black plague viruses infect the third “i;”
The computer’s terminal with nothing to die.
Information consigned,
Booty is data;
It’s all in the mind: algorithmic schemata.
A virtual world,
A virtual war,
With more and more weapons to download and store;
Yet soldiers of the web,
We, separate in unity,
Surf New Jerusalem with virtual impunity.
