Confession

Confession

In deep immersion I give away all,
Restore myself to grace before fall;
I confess a conscience confused, even shorn;
I baptize my urbane form.
I lose the good as well as the bad;
I regain the peace I’ve never had;
It all soaks away in colloidal rub,
So hard to remove from sides of the tub.
